Register by August 22 (deadline extended!) for the 2025 Furman University Band Day! Includes a rehearsal, meal, and the opportunity to perform for the pre-game pep rally, in the stands, and at halftime! (~9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.)

September 12-13, 2025

The CELLObration weekend offers a chance for cellists of all ages from near-beginners to professionals to celebrate their love of the cello by playing together. Hosted by Furman’s cello professor, Christopher Hutton, this year’s clinicians will include Prof. Eric Kutz (University of Maryland) and Seth Russell (South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities).

Open to students in grades 8-12 who are interested in studying voice and sharpening their performance skills. This one-day workshop will prepare students for competition, college auditions, and school performances. Sessions are available for both teachers and students.

Saturday, October 18, 2025

All high school pianists who are considering a music major in college are welcome to join us for Furman Piano Day. Parents and teachers are also invited for the day, especially for the Q&A session about the audition process.

November 7-8, 2025

Open to high school students (9th-12th grade) nominated by their band directors. Information about the nomination process and dates will be updated on the Honor Band Symposium webpage soon.
