To increase Furman University pride with all alumni through Presence, Resources, Innovation, Development and Engagement.
The Mission and Vision of the Alumni Association and Association Board can be achieved by:
- Actively participating in the ongoing life of Furman University, taking advantage of opportunities such as alumni activities, athletic and, cultural events.
- Serving as ambassadors to promote Furman University at every opportunity.
- Providing guidance, evaluation and support to the University.
- Encouraging a sense of inclusion, camaraderie, value and attachment among all members of the Furman family.
- Serving as guardians of Furman’s heritage, tradition and identity.
- Assisting the University in reaching its goal of greater national prominence.
- Supporting the University through its annual giving programs.
